Some states do not permit limitations or exclusions on warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
Valstar Printer Solutions shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if Valstar Printer Solutions has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Typographical Errors
In the event that a Valstar Printer Solutions product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Valstar Printer Solutions reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Valstar Printer Solutions reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Valstar Printer Solutions shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Valstar Printer Solutions Warranty
We are so confident in our workmanship that Valstar offers the best warranty in the business on all parts and labor. Our knowledge and expertise comes from 20 years of rebuilding printers! This allows you to buy with confidence.
Like our refurbishing, we provide the warranty on all of our printers in-house. If something goes wrong with your printer, under normal use, within the warranty period, return the printer to us (at your cost) and we will repair or replace the printer (at our discretion) and ship the printer back to you (at our cost).
All Valstar warranties are limited to specific time periods from the date of original invoice. In general, the applicable warranty periods for various Valstar products are:
Desktop Monochrome Laser Printer 1 Year
Color Laser Printer 90 Days
Multifunction Printer 90 Days
High-duty Cycle Monochrome 90 Days
Parts & Accessories 90 Days
Dot Matrix Printers 90 Days
*EXCEPTION: CANADA, HAWAII, ALASKA and any
other sale outside of the contiguous 48 states - Warranty limited to 90
days on all printers, 30 days on parts and accessories.
During the first 14 days, if a product is found defective on arrival (DOA), Valstar will pay for the ground shipping costs to send the customer either a replaced unit or a replacement part to fix the unit, at our option. After 14 days and until the end of the warranty period, transportation costs to return an item will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Valstar warranty does no include any provision for on-site service or local repair at the customer's discretion. Valstar's limited warranty is void if product has been tampered with, parts replaced, or repair attempted.
If the product serial number does not match the serial number Valstar Printer Solutions has on file, we cannot provide warranty coverage. If the printer or product appears to have been tampered with, altered, misused, or not used under normal circumstance, Valstar Printer Solutions reserves the right to not provide warranty repair.
All warranty claims must first open a Trouble Ticket. If a solution can not be achieved over the phone with one of Valstar's experienced printer staff, a Warranty RMA number may be assigned. Without an authorized Valstar Printer Solutions RMA, we cannot provide warranty service. CLICK HERE to obtain a Trouble Ticket/Warranty RMA and for full warranty instructions.
Returns
Items may be returned within 30
days of the purchase date for the cost of the products less shipping
costs*. Returns will incur a 20% restocking free. After 30 days,
products may not be returned for credit. All returns will be inspected
for product integrity prior to issuance of any return credit. If item
has been damaged, misused, tampered with, or altered in any way, Valstar
is not liable for providing item credit. Customer pays return shipping
costs.
Step 1:
Go to the following Valstar Printer Solutions website page and complete the provided form: Request for Return RMA.
You will need to have your Sales Order number and product Serial
Number available. This number is located on the Packing Slip received
with your item. After return approval, you will be emailed an RMA # that
is necessary to process your return.
Special Note: If you
return your printer without the proper Return RMA number, we cannot
process the return of your printer. The number is necessary for us to
properly track your printer's return or associated credit if necessary.
An
RMA number must be obtained in ADVANCE of returning a printer. Valstar
Printer Solutions reserves the right to not accept, repair, return or
provide credit on a printer without a Valstar issued RMA number.
Step 2:
Once you receive your RMA# follow the shipping instructions provided with your RMA #.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Write the RMA# in large letters on the OUTSIDE of the box.
- Remove any toner cartridges.

Please be sure to carefully pack the printer, preferably in its original box. If the product/s are damaged in return shipping due to poor packaging we will not be able to provide you with credit for its return. Sometimes
it requires extra packaging material in its original box as packing
materials can settle during the initial shipping.

Keep
in mind that the following materials ARE NOT acceptable packaging
materials: packing peanuts, shredded paper, newspaper. If a package is
shipped using these materials or no packaging materials at all the
returned item will be automatically refused and warranty void. It is
imperative that the packaged printer is protected and does not shift or
move in the box during shipping. The best packaging material is rigid
foam on all four sides of the printer.

If
your printer was shipped to you by freight (strapped to a pallet), the
printer MUST BE returned by freight packaged the same way. If you are
unsure how to arrange a freight shipment, contact www.Freightquote.com and
they can help you with freight arrangements. Valstar does not endorse
FreightQuote, we only suggest them as an option to help you.
Once the product is returned and inspected, your account will be credited.
*Refunds on products with FEE shipping will be adjusted and reduced by the actual shipping costs to ship the product/s.
Warranties
In the unlikely event your printer is not functioning properly within the warranty period, please follow the following procedure.
Before returning a product for warranty work, a TROUBLE TICKET must first be initiated. A Trouble Ticket will help Valstar determine the best solution to your printer's issue. Often, by providing details of your printer's problem, it can be solved over the phone with one of our experienced printer staff.
If after troubleshooting with the customer, Valstar may determine the printer needs to be returned to Valstar for warranty work. In those instances, the Trouble Ticket will be upgraded to a Warranty RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
Step 1:
Go to the following Valstar Printer Solutions website page and complete the provided form: Request for Trouble Ticket/Warranty RMA. You will need to have your Sales Order number available and describe in detail the problem you are experiencing.
If after troubleshooting with the customer, Valstar may determine the printer needs to be returned to Valstar for warranty work. In those instances, the Trouble Ticket will be upgraded to a Warranty RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). After warranty approval, you will be emailed an RMA # that is necessary to process your warranty.

NO FAULTS FOUND: If a printer is returned to Valstar for warranty work and our technicians do not find anything wrong with the printer, the customer will be charged 20% of the sale price as a warranty service fee and must pay for return shipping of their printer.
Step 2:
Once you receive your RMA# follow the shipping instructions provided with your RMA #. In most cases your printer will repaired and shipped back to you within two business days.

The cost of the return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer*. Valstar will repair the printer and pay the shipping costs to return the printer to the buyer.

Dead on Arrival (DOA)
*In the event that the printer must be returned for warranty work within 14 days of purchase due to damages caused by shipping, Valstar will cover the shipping costs to return the damaged printer for warranty repair.
Term; Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Valstar Printer Solutions without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.
Notice
Valstar Printer Solutions may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to Valstar Printer Solutions.
Miscellaneous
Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Minnesota, U.S.A., without regard to choice of law provisions, and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of Valstar Printer Solutions shall be in the state or federal courts located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Use of Site
